Antique VIntage Composition Santa On Donkey Pull Toy Glass Eyes Germany

Santa has composition head, hands and boots. Santa is clothed in a felt suite and hat with rabbit fur beard, painted features , and feather tree in hand. Donkey has a composition painted nose and taupe colored cloth covered body. He has felt ears, leather strappings, glass eyes, vellum saddle and stiff long tail. He is attached to wooden platform with wood wheels.

Both piece have vintage soiling or staining. Both pieces have vintage paint loss/ wear to composition and wooden parts. Santa has some missing fur beard , black paint on left hand , and right arms wires are not as stiff as left.

The wire may be too weak from age and use to try and pose anymore. Donkey has some worn areas at tail and rump.

Vellum saddle has tears , missing or loose strappings and missing fur on mane. Base has writing but no markings. Santa has German sticker on foot. Santa is 7 H and donkey is 9H x 8L x 2 3/4 W.
