This is the earliest version of the composition Jerrys next to the very first version made in 1949. It was either made in mid 1949, or 1950. This particular example is 100% all original. Usually when I say "all original" there's some stuff missing, like the original rubber band and packing paper... This guy has it all though. It actually had some 50's Christmas glitter in it when I first got it years back. It seems like it might have only been taken out once on Christmas, and was then put back into storage. You could probably guess what happened there, unfortunately. What you see on the clothes are not stains, they are discoloration from age. The suit is made out of a faux wool material that does not age well, even when stored in ideal conditions. It is in no way dirty; see the faux shirt and tag, still almost completely white after all these years!

Composition on the head has craze lines but no major paint lifting on the seams or anything, which is quite rare for these. The paint job is in fine condition except for wearing on the back of the head, and bottom lip. The original shoes are still pliable, usually they solidify over the years and crack in multiple places. The original box is in very good condition for its age, with the only damage being to the glued on label on the side.
