He is hand painted, spelter or similar metal. While he has no makers mark I believe he was made in Germany, pre-WW2, by the Heyde company. The style of figure, the painting, and the base are all typical of their figures. The base measures a bit over 4.5 inches long. The boy measures aboutb3.75 inches from the tip of his toe to the top of his hat.

He is about 3 inches tall from the top of the base to the top of his hat. I use lots of bubble wrap and peanuts and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually.
