Antique German Large Pull Toy Horse On Wheeled Platform

This is an Antique German Large Pull Toy - Horse on Wheeled Platform featuring. Beautiful, genuine brown hide covered Horse, covered with checked wool warming blanket, beautiful leather harness under blanket; leather ears, wooden muzzle & hooves, a brown horse hair mane and a black horse hair tail. Attached to a wooden platform by pegs in the bottom of his hooves with a hole for pulling and four metal wheels. Unmarked but appears German, late 1800s. Measures approximately 18 long x 6 wide x 18 tall.

Wear consistent with age: leather ears lean forward and show wear/cracking; mane is thin and partly loose; hide seams under mane are open and show wear; harness/bridle missing; wooden muzzle shows holes, knicks & wear; one small hole in hide near front of blanket; horse blanket fragile and shows wear; hide seams coming apart under horse; few cracks in wooden platform with numerous stains; metal wheels show oxidation; wheels wobbly but turn well.
