Antique VTG Composition Santa Riding Cloth Glass Eyed Donkey On Wheels Pull Toy

Wonderful Santa riding a beautiful cloth covered wheeled donkey. Santa has composition face, hands and boots. He has a cotton beard, felt clothes, feather tree and a wonderful toothy smile. Donkey has a soft brushed cloth covered body, glass eyes, floppy cloth ears, bridle, cloth saddle , stiff tail and wheels attached to wood feet. Donkey German and Santa possibly German or Japan.

Pieces came to me together. Some vintage soiling, fading of colors , and wear related to age and use. Feather tree is shedding some. Some separation of cloth and tiny hole on rear of donkey. Some wear to saddle cloth and a piece of trim is missing.

One back wheel is a bit raised. Other wheels turn stiffly on paper. 8 H, donkey 7 1/2 H x 7 W , Santa in donkey approx.
