Captain Marvel MARY 1946 Fawcett comic book (1 MIB action figure) statue playset. THIS LISTING IS FOR ONLY ONE BOXED FIGURE: MARY MARVEL. INDIVIDUAL FIGURES ARE OFFERED IN SEPARATE LISTINGS from the astounding 1946 set four Fawcett Captain Marvel Family figures. BOXED, made by RW Kerr, these figures are a resin like plastic substance and are extremely fragile and also rare. While not as unobtainable as they once were, this is a handpicked set in extremely high grade condition. BOX ---complete and near mint;gorgeous unfaded colors and great images, one of the best comic character box designs you will ever see from the 1930s-1950s period. FIGURE ---the capes on these are REALLY thin and fragile, see photos for the state of the decals on the bottoms, the printing on the bases (front and back) is overall pretty clean and clear. CAPT MARVEL ---the red "bleed" through on the cape is just where they glued the extremely THIN cape to his arm and I do not believe it is considered a defect. CAPT MARVEL JR --probably the best condition of the group. MARY MARVEL ---has one of these on one knee 1 a glue stain, or 2 a manufacturing flaw or 3 it might be a repair--not really sure. MY PHOTOS - If more than 1 item is shown in a photo--- then items are in SEPARATE listings (unless otherwise stated)! There was a huge increase in 2016. Must be sent EXPRESS which is usually expensive. West Coast may be a bit higher on larger or heavier items.
