DAN DARE 12 ACTION FIGURE 2010 Day2Day Space Eagle 2000AD Future Pilot DIID. Not vintage but utterly classic and utterly extraordinary 30cm tall Dan Dare Pilot of the Future created by Day2Day Toys in 2010. 1/6 scale action hero figure with hand painted features and including red cloth jumpsuit with matching ray gun, boots, gloves and helmet. Highly detailed figure set includes. These sets were not issued with a stand - but Colonel Daniel McGregor Dare can stand up very well for himself.

Pilot of the Future originally featured in the UK Eagle comic in the 1950s and continued later in UK comic 2000AD. Later still as an animated cartoon. Package: Window box and sleeve. Dan Dare's box art was designed by Steve Forde of Go Hero.

Day2Day apparently secured the world-wide rights to produce Dan Dare merchandise. Sadly it seems their first and last product was the Dan Dare 1:6 scale action figure. This fabulous item appears mostly mint-like.

It has been out of the box. Dan's space helmet has some minor paint loss around the base where it fits to the shoulder plate. The shoulder plate also has similar minor rubbing where the helmet and shoulder plate join. Gun and gloves appear unused. The window box is in good condition with no damage or obvious marks. This classic space hero is around 8 years old. Price reflects this is an excellent lightly used item in box as shown and described.
