Some say that it was advertised as "Tommy" but no one has been able to show any vintage brochures/catalogs that prove this. The body is from a 1967 Danny O'Day, which is all original except for the shoes. The mechanism has been modified so that it requires no rubber bands or springs.
By default the mouth is open, when you pull the string it closes. This was done because over time, rubber bands (and springs especially) can warp the shape of the head. The head is all original except for touch up work that was done on the top of the jaw, the previous owner didn't do too good of a job so I removed it. My touch up is aimed towards masking the damage, but not making it completely invisible. There is a split in the paint job on the top left corner of the mouth. It is not a crack in the plastic.
