NEW Vintage 2005 Playmates King Kong ROARING KONG 11 Tall - See Description

Factory sealed Y2K King Kong 8th Wonder of the World "Roaring Kong" action figure toy. There is some slight damage to a corner of the box (see last photo) but this has otherwise been sitting on a shelf, unopened, as a display piece. PLEASE NOTE: When I press the demo button, it does not roar. However, the batteries it came with are now almost 20 years old, so I have no reason to believe this would not work as it should once the batteries were replaced.

I gently peeled the tape on the bottom of the box to see if I could get to the battery compartment, but not only is this still twist tied to the box, but the twist ties are also still taped. Box had never been opened until I just opened the bottom.
