RARE ORIGINAL Vintage Wooden Donald Duck, made in Occupied Japan by JayMar Toys

Rare Original vintage Jaymar Toys Walt Disney Productions Donald Duck wooden pull toy made in Occupied Japan, circa late 1940s to early 1950s. An unusual and possibly scarce Jaymar Disney wooden mechanical pull toy, featuring Donald Duck in a parade leader / drum major style design with moving baton-style arm mechanism and green bird figure believed to represent Huey. Hand-painted wooden construction with pull string and rolling platform base. Another rare individuality of Donald Duck on this piece, is that his snout is longer than normally perceived in other pieces. Jaymar is primarily known for puzzles and jointed toys rather than wooden mechanical pull toys, making this example especially interesting to Disney and Occupied Japan collectors. Condition is vintage and as found.

Donald Duck head area shows structural cracking/repair near the neck attachment area. Baton mechanism rods are detached/unsecured and one appears to be an older replacement. Mechanism is not currently functioning. Huey figure is stable but missing hat.

General paint wear, scratches, scuffs, and age-related wear throughout consistent with age and play use. Despite condition issues, the toy retains excellent display appeal with vibrant original paint and charming folk-art character styling.

Looks to have the original pull string, missing the ball at the end of the string. Please review all photos carefully for condition and completeness.
