Rare Vintage Audiotronic Robocop Figure By Toy Island 1993. This is a very rare Robocop figure by toy island from 1993. It is a really great figure inclusive of all his accesories some being interchangeable. He stands just over 12 inches and has 10 points of articulation. The figure is in fantastuc shape and the paint application has not tarnished or has any real signs of use.

I have had this figure for over 30 years and happy to say that he has remained in the box practically all that time. I have taken him out of the box to take photos and also placed the necessary batteries to check that he is still fully operational. Sadly I have identified two issues to which I have no idea what has happened but can only put it down to age and not being used for a long period..

Firstly when you add the batteries to the gun it makes the corrrect sound but refuses to turn off and the other is that although he quotes all the correct phrases and Illuminates around the eyes and face as he should which is great however the mouth that is an LCD type display should also be visible. It does show most times but not as often as it is supposed to going on my memory and from what I can recall. It appears to be very temperamental and doesnt work every time as it should only coming on intermittently when the button on his chest is pressed. I can say though that the light Illuminates every time as it should without fail as does the voice sounds/phrases. The box unfortunately for this figure has seen better days displaying some edge wear and discoloration of the clear plastic which surrounds the figure whilst in the box. All in all he still is in fantastic shape and deserves to now go to an new home so that another collector can have the enjoyment of having him stand pride of place in there collection.
