Vintage Composition Santa Claus On Chimney With Ladder & Toy Bag Decoration

For sale is this vintage Christmas mantel or table decoration. Santa sits astride a cardboard/paper brick chimney with mica snow and trimmed with a bottle brush wreath. His shiny metal ladder is perched to one side. Santa holds a small tree with a red berry top and has his toy bag, complete with toys and glass balls.

The bag is loose from the chimney. Toys include a doll, plastic space gun, plastic tank and others.

Santa has a painted composition face and wears red felt clothes. Although this is not marked I feel certain it was made in Japan, mid-century. There a spot on the bottom that looks like a tag might have been there. It stands just over 7 tall. Please see photos for further information.
