Vintage Marx 1974 Johnny West BOTW Figure Set-Original Boxed- Complete All 24Pcs

Hello & Thanks for looking at my auctions.. You are looking at a : 1974 Marx Johnny West - Best of the West Figure set. He is in an Original Marx BOTW Box with a "Reproduction" Manual and a Original Full Color Collection Brochure & ALL 24 pieces of Original equipment accessories. The figure is in Great shape.

The upper body shoulders and elbow joints are tight as is the lower leg knee and hip joints. He is a Post-1970 production figure, with the extra rivets in the shoulders and hip. Which is correct for this box year design. This box design was made for 1 year and are hard-to-find in good shape. His Springs are Tight & Clean. He has some But very little figure head hair-loss. There are No Cracks or Splits. Figure is Nice & Clean and Shiny. All joints bend and move well what little I moved and posed them. I didn't press the issue on any of them because of the fragility of the Caramel plastic figures. He stands very well on his own.

But I would still Advise & Highly recommend to use a stand to display him (If you are planning on doing that) just to play it safe. Seeings how he is over 50 years old and very Fragile. He comes with ALL 24 pieces of his Original Western equipment.

Both the soft vinyl & hard poly-plastic pieces are all in great shape. The chaps have all the locking balls and feathered tassels.

The spurs and straps are both in great shape. The Best of the West Equipment manual is a Reproduction. The Best of the West Full-Color complete collection brochure is an "Original".

They are both in Great shape with No Marks, Tears or Repairs. The Box is a "Original" Marx Best of the West Box. The top has the usual shelf wear all around the edges and the corner dog ears along the bottoms of the smaller front and back ends like this year box usually has. However it Doesn't have any of the usual crushing and folds that this design usually 9 out of 10 boxes have.

It is hard to find one this year design that don't because of the flimsy cardboard they used to make them with. The box top & bottom both have No repairs on either of them.
