There are two trigger buttons, in a perfect toy both need to be pushed to make it work. On this one the bottom trigger makes the inside engine run, while the finger trigger makes the lazer sound. It's not supposed to work that way, but in a way it's more interesting because you can get two sounds from it. Although the first one is more silent.
